| Barbara St Jean, four-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis St Jean 236 Florence street, died at a local hospital Monday evening after a brief illness. Barbara, who was born in Ottawa, would have celebrated her fifth birthday on May 24th. The fact that her birthday was on Empire Day was always a source of pride to her parents. In addition to her father and mother, the former Rose May Derouin, she is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Max Glatt and Misses Doriel, Doreen and Ruth, all of Ottawa, and five brothers, Corporal Edward St. Jean, R.C.A.M.C., Ottawa, and Bernard, Raymond, Lloyd and Robert, also of Ottawa. The funeral was held at 3.15 o'clock this afternoon to St. Jean Baptiste church for service at 3:30. Interment was in Notre Dame cemetery. | ||
