  	Died at Vinton, Anne Flanagan, 102. Widow of the late John Sloan who died 29 years ago. Born County Down; to Canada 67 years ago with her brother, John Flanagan, now of Kemptville. Settled Litchfield Twp when it was a wilderness. Seven children: James Sloan of Vinton; Rev. Canon Sloan of St. Bridget's, Ottawa, deceased; Thomas, Bernard, Michael Sloan and Mrs. H. Doyle, all of Vinton. 64 grandchildren, including Rev. Thomas Sloan of Vinton and Rev Sr Ermelinda of Fort William. Also 24 great grandchildren. Sixty descendants were at the funeral.
